Description
Made from the water soluble extracts of barley, rye, chicory roots, beet roots, and dandelion roots.
Has the consistency of instant coffee and can be served hot, cold, or in your favorite recipe. Simply add water and stir. No tea bags, filters, coffe pot, or French Press needed.
Used as a coffee substitute or complete for coffee as it tastes like a full bodied cup of coffee for many. No caffeine, acidity, or bitterness. No withdrawal headaches.
Tested to be gluten-free since gluten is removed from the water extract used to create Dandy Blend. Kosher, Vegan, Vegetarian, and GMO-free too.

Product Description
For over 25 years, Dandy Blend has provided a headache-free way to reduce or eliminate coffee and caffeine. Dandy Blend contains no caffeine. Rather Dandy Blend has a sweet, full bodied flavor similar to coffee and is acid free and bitterness free. It looks like fine instant coffee granules and quickly dissolves in hot or cold water to make a healthy herbal tea beverage which features the smoothness and texture of real coffee.
Our Original Dandy Blend is created from a water extract of 5 plant ingredients: dandelion root, chicory root, sugar beetroot, barley, and rye. Original Dandy Blend comes in different sized bags and a box of 25 individual servings.
Our Organic Dandy Blend is created from a water extract made from 4 plant ingredients: dandelion root, chicory root, barley, and rye. Organic Dandy Blend does not contain sugar beet root. Currently our Organic Dandy Blend is available in a 7.05 oz and soon in a 11 oz. option.
Hot or cold, Dandy Blend is so versatile that, depending on how-much powder you use, it can be everything from a pleasant, nutty roasted tea to a rich, strong espresso or cappuccino.
The plants used in the production of Dandy Blend are grown on medicinal herb farms in Poland where there are no GMO crops allowed by law.
Dandy Blend is manufactured from a water extract of these plants. Despite barley and rye being key ingredients, gluten and gliadin proteins do not dissolve in water and therefore, they are not in the water extract used to create Dandy Blend. We test for gluten and gliadin using the ELIZA tests accepted by FDA and Health Canada. The results show that there are less than 5 ppm of gluten and gliadin in Dandy Blend. Standards in both countries are that 20 ppm or less is gluten-free.
The health benefits of dandelion root and chicory have been passed down for generations. Dandy Blend contains many trace minerals too.
Dandy Blend does not contain wheat or fruit, nor is there a possibility of cross-contamination with malt, peanut, soy, or tree nut allergens. The facility that produces Dandy Blend produces nothing containing any kind of nut. The barley is simply extracted with water, producing no malt.
Dandy Blend is safe for pets, children, s, and breastfeeding/lactating women. Check with your health practitioner if you are pregnant and have any concerns.

Original Dandy Blend and Organic Dandy Blend look like fine, instant coffee granules and quickly dissolve in hot and cold water, or other beverage you prefer. The result is a full bodied, non-acidic drink which tastes very similar to coffee although people do have varying tastes. Adjust the amount used to arrive at your favorite taste.

No Genetically Modified Ingredients
Our Original Dandy Blend is made from dandelion roots, chicory roots, sugar beet roots, barley, and rye. All five plant ingredients in Original Dandy Blend are sourced in Poland where no GMO crops are allowed. Organic Dandy Blend is made from a water extract of organic dandelion roots, organic chicory roots, organic barley, and organic rye. There are no sugar beetroots in Organic Dandy Blend. All Organic Dandy Blend plants are also grown on Polish farms where GMO crops are not allowed by law.

How is Dandy Blend Made so it is Gluten Free, Caffeine Free and has no Bitterness of Acidity
From A Water Extraction of the Plants Used
1. All ingredients are dried and roasted separately.
2. They are then combined in the proper proportions, and allowed to steep in a hot-water filled vat.
3. The water, and the water-soluble portions of the ingredients, is drained off leaving behind the grounds.
4. The grounds with all the water-insoluble substances, are composted. The gluten proteins do not dissolve in water and remain in the grounds which are composted.
5. The water extract is spray dried. The resulting powder is Dandy Blend.
