Carl Schumann Signed MC Wassem Pink & Yellow Rose Dinner Plate C. 1918 - 1929
Pretty porcelain dinner plate. Nicely decorated with pink and yellow roses. With hand painted green and grey leaves. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with a crown above Bavaria V. Also has an obscured manufacturer's mark. This can be seen if held up to a bright light. It is a Bavaria Schumann mark with a lion inside a shield. This mark was used by Carl Schumann between 1918 and 1929. Also signed on the back M. C. Wassem.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 9 3/4 inches wide.
Vintage items may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
